Hengeler Mueller advises BlackFin on acquisition of asset manager INKA

HSBC Continental Europe has agreed to sell Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH ("INKA"), its Düsseldorf-based licensed asset management company (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft) and fund administration platform, to a fund managed by BlackFin Capital Partners S.A.S.

INKA is an indirect subsidiary of HSBC Germany with c. EUR 430bn assets under administration as of December 2024.

The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory and antitrust approvals and the conclusion of negotiations with HSBC Germany's works council.
