Iqony Fernwärme GmbH, a company of the Steag Iqony Group (a portfolio company of Asterion Industrial Partners), has reached an agreement with Uniper SE to acquire Uniper Wärme GmbH. The Steag Iqony Group is thus strengthening its position as one of the largest providers of climate-friendly heat in Germany. For Uniper, the sale is part of the conditions that the company must fulfill under EU state aid law.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
