Jerónimo Martins acquires Plus supermarkets

In December 2007, the Portuguese company, Jerónimo Martins, signed an agreement with Tengelmann Group to acquire the operational business of Plus in Poland and 174.

Hengeler Mueller advised Jerónimo Martins on this transaction. Hengeler Mueller worked on this transaction in an integrated team together with the law firm Uría Menéndez, Lisbon (lead partner: Francisco Sá Carneiro) as well as with the Polish law firm Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak (lead partner: Andrzej Szlęzak).
