Hengeler Mueller advises Xovis on the acquisition of HELLA's People Sensing business

The Swiss company Xovis, a portfolio company of the European private equity firm Capvis, will acquire the People Sensing business of HELLA. The companies have signed an agreement to this effect. The consummation of the transaction is expected within the next three to six months.

The acquisition of the People Sensing business and the assumption of complementary business areas opens up additional growth opportunities for Xovis in international core markets. 

Xovis is a market-leading technology company that develops, produces, and distributes 3D sensors and related software solutions for precise counting and analysis of people flow worldwide. Airport terminals, retailers, smart buildings, and public transport operators rely on the company’s tailored solutions. Founded in 2008, Xovis has offices in Bern (Switzerland), Boston (USA), and in future in Berlin (Germany).
