Hengeler Mueller advises KKR on the expansion of its residential property portfolio with the acquisition of around 14,400 units from Adler Group

KKR, a leading global investment firm, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a residential property portfolio consisting of 14,400 units from Adler Group. The portfolio is primarily residential, but also includes a small number of commercial units.

Hengeler Mueller advised KKR on the transaction. The team was led by partners Thomas Müller and Thomas Lang (both Real Estate/M&A, Frankfurt) and included partners Johannes Tieves (Frankfurt) and Martin Tasma (Berlin) (both Restructuring), Dirk Uwer (Public Law/Compliance, Düsseldorf) and Markus Röhrig (Antitrust, Brussels) as well as associates Georg Tauser (Real Estate/M&A, Frankfurt), Arvid Morawe (Frankfurt), Jasper Bothe (Berlin) (both Restructuring) and Joachim Burger (Antitrust, Brussels).
