Hengeler Mueller advises BlackFin on the launch of MorgenFund

MorgenFund, the joint fund platform of DWS and Blackfin Capital, was launched on 1 December. The new securities institution (Wertpapierinstitut) is a joint venture company under the leadership of BlackFin Capital Partners. DWS holds 30% in the new venture. 

The start of business operations follows the transfer of DWS's fund distribution platforms to MorgenFund GmbH on 30 November 2022. The transfer was implemented by way of a series of synchronised corporate transformation measures including a cross-border merger of the Luxembourg activities. 

Hengeler Mueller advised BlackFin Capital Partners SAS on the transaction.
