Hengeler Mueller advises Takeaway.com on acquisition of Delivery Hero’s German food delivery operations

Takeaway.com N.V. signed an agreement with Delivery Hero SE to acquire Delivery Hero’s German food delivery operations. The transaction volume amounts to approx. EUR 930 million in cash and equity. Takeaway.com, a leading online food delivery marketplace in Continental Europe, Israel and Vietnam, is already active in Germany with its brand Lieferando.de. The transaction comprises all shares in Delivery Hero Germany GmbH and Foodora GmbH as well as the brands Lieferheld, Pizza.de and foodora in Germany.
