Hengeler Mueller advises Swiss Life on MLP sale

The Swiss insurance company Swiss Life has sold an approx. 6% stake in MLP to Barmenia, a German insurance company, thus reducing its shareholding in the German financial services provider MLP from 15.9% to just under 10%.

Hengeler Mueller is advising Swiss Life on this transaction together with the Swiss law firm Homburger.

The Hengeler Mueller team includes partners Maximilian Schiessl (Düsseldorf) and Bernd Wirbel (London) as well as associates Christian Bank (London) and Matthias Wittschen (Düsseldorf) (all Corporate/M&A).
