Hengeler Mueller advises SCHÖNES LEBEN group on acquisition of MEDIKO

SCHÖNES LEBEN group, a portfolio company of the independent European private equity firm Waterland, continues to grow. In the course of an add-on transaction the group acquires a majority stake in MEDIKO Pflege- und Gesundheitszentren GmbH.

With the takeover, SCHÖNES LEBEN expands its presence in northern and western Germany and climbs to fifth place among Germany's largest private nursing and care facilities for senior citizens. In 2018, the group had already integrated the Southern German care specialist compassio, the Gut Köttenich group in North Rhine-Westphalia and A&R with locations in Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria.

Hengeler Mueller advised SCHÖNES LEBEN group on the transaction.
