Hengeler Mueller advises RWE on reorganisation

On 10 August 2015, the Supervisory Board of RWE AG has approved the reorganisation of RWE. In the corresponding process, RWE AG will be abolished as a management holding and instead be transformed into an operational company largely pooling the German RWE holdings. In doing so, RWE minimizes bureaucracy, downsizes procedures optimizing cooperation at the same time. A large part of the RWE group companies in Germany will be merged.

Hengeler Mueller is advising RWE on this corporate reorganisation. The Hengeler Mueller team is led by partner Hartwin Bungert (Corporate, Düsseldorf) and includes partners Christian Hoefs (Labour, Frankfurt) and Thomas Schmidt-Kötters (Public Law, Düsseldorf) as well as associate Matthias Cloppenburg (Corporate, Düsseldorf).
