Hengeler Mueller advises METRO on sale of Adler Modemärkte

METRO AG has concluded the sale of the Adler clothing markets. The Adler Group, with approx. 5,800 employees, operates 120 Adler clothing markets in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg. Acquiror is the investment company BluO.

Hengeler Mueller advised METRO AG on this transaction. The Hengeler Mueller team included partners Georg Seyfarth, Gerd Sassenrath (both M&A) and Thorsten Mäger (Competition) as well as associates Cristina Helena Villafrade, Tobias Bage, Vicki Treibmann and Evelyn Niitväli (all Düsseldorf).
