Hengeler Mueller advises J.P. Morgan Asset Management on the acquisition of a logistics park

A joint venture of J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Australia's Cromwell Property Group has acquired the Panattoni Park in the north of Hamburg, Germany. Completed in Q4 2022, the fully leased logistics park is located on a 157,900 sqm site and comprises approximately 70,000 sqm of logistics space. The property is leased to a number of e-commerce tenants on long-term leases. 

Hengeler Mueller has advised J.P. Morgan Asset Management on the acquisition of the logistics park through a share deal, the refinancing of the target and the joint venture with Cromwell. The team consisted of counsel Marco Mâallem (Real Estate, lead), partners Daniel Kress (Real Estate/M&A) and Jan Bonhage (Public Law) as well as associates Marcel Preuß (Real Estate), Kevin Marschhäuser, Anton Petrov (both Public Law) and Krzysztof Paluch (Corporate/M&A, all Berlin).
