Hengeler Mueller advises ICF BANK AG on registration as a benchmark administrator

ICF BANK AG Wertpapierhandelsbank has successfully completed the registration procedure as a benchmark administrator under the EU Benchmarks Regulation.

Issued in 2016, the EU Benchmarks Regulation covers the provision of benchmarks that are used for financial products. From 1 January 2020, benchmark administrators based in the EU will require a license to provide benchmarks. The use of a benchmark by supervised entities is only permitted if the administrator has obtained the required license.
