Hengeler Mueller advises Friends of the Berliner Ensemble pro bono on establishment of Helene Weigel Theaterpreis

The Friends of the Berliner Ensemble (Freunde des Berliner Ensembles) have established the Helene Weigel Theatre Prize, an award which is intended to highlight and promote exceptional artistic achievements at the Berliner Ensemble, one of the most renowned and long-standing theatres in Germany. The prize will be awarded annually from 2022 onwards at the end of each season. Nominations are open to artists from all fields who are currently engaged at the Berliner Ensemble.

Hengeler Mueller advised the Friends of the Berliner Ensemble free of charge in relation to the establishment of the Helene Weigel Theatre Prize. The team included partner Daniel Weiß (Contract Law, Frankfurt) and counsel Patrick Wilkening (IP/IT, Düsseldorf).

The advice of Hengeler Mueller was provided in the course of the pro bono activities of the firm.
