Hengeler Mueller advises E.ON AG on sale of Thüga AG

On August 12, 2009, E.ON AG, the largest energy company in Germany, has reached an agreement with the municipal buyer consortium Integra/KOM9, an alliance comprising 50 public utilities, on the sale of Thüga AG. The purchase price amounts to € 2.9 billion. The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval by the competent merger control authorities.
