Sebastian Schneider and Jens Wenzel appointed new co-managing partners at Hengeler Mueller

On 14 May 2021 Vonovia SE entered into a business combination agreement with Deutsche Wohnen SE and published the intent to launch a tender offer to the shareholders of Deutsche Wohnen SE. On 23 June 2021 the offer document was published. On 1 July 2021 the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Wohnen SE have published a response statement on the offer in which they recommend the acceptance of the offer.
Hengeler Mueller advises the supervisory board of Deutsche Wohnen SE on the tender offer. The team includes partners Maximilian Schiessl, Bernd Wirbel (both Düsseldorf), Georg Frowein (Frankfurt) (all Corporate/M&A) and Matthias Scheifele (Tax, Munich) as well as associates Maxi Ludwig and Benedikt Statz (both Corporate/M&A, Düsseldorf).
