Hengeler Mueller advises Bayer on capital increase

13 July 2006

On 6 July 2006, Bayer AG successfully completed its cash capital increase. In an accelerated bookbuilding, 34 million new shares were placed with German and international institutional investors. The transaction value amounts to approx. EUR 1.2 bn.

Hengeler Mueller partner Wolfgang Gross advised Bayer.

Citigroup, CSFB and UBS acted as lead managers.
