Hengeler Mueller advises RWE on sale of RWE Dea

On 16 March 2014, RWE AG announced that it had agreed terms with LetterOne Group for the sale of RWE Dea AG for an enterprise value of approximately EUR 5.1 bn. The transaction is subject to final documentation, RWE Supervisory Board approval and regulatory approval in several jurisdictions.

RWE Dea AG is the company heading RWE's upstream oil and gas business with interests in 14 countries including Germany, the UK, Norway, Denmark and Egypt.

Hengeler Mueller is advising RWE on the sale in an integrated team with Best Friends law firm Slaughter and May.
