Hengeler Mueller advises Qonto on the acquisition of Penta

French finance solution provider for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Qonto has entered into an agreement on the acquisition of the German fintech Penta. Penta also provides digital business finance solution for SMEs, sole proprietors and professionals. With its 200 employees the company serves 50,000 customers in Germany. Qonto serves more than 250,000 customers in France, Germany, Italy and Spain with more than 700 employees. Closing of the transaction is envisaged for the coming weeks.
