Hengeler Mueller advises Nordwind Growth and DriveLock on acquisition of idgard

DriveLock SE, a portfolio company of the Munich-based private equity investor Nordwind Growth, has acquired idgard GmbH, a provider of cloud applications and solutions for secure data transfer. The seller is Uniscon universal identity control GmbH, a company of the TÜV SÜD Group.

With the acquisition of idgard, DriveLock SE is expanding its expertise and product portfolio in the field of cyber security and underlining its commitment to the digital sovereignty of Germany and Europe. The IT security solutions are developed entirely in Germany, ensuring the highest security and data protection standards. The close integration with other European security providers also creates new market opportunities and enables companies to both ward off cyber threats and efficiently meet regulatory requirements.

Hengeler Mueller comprehensively advised Nordwind Growth and DriveLock SE on the acquisition.
