Hengeler Mueller advises Merz on business combination of WindStar Medical with Merz Lifecare and partnership with Oakley Capital

Merz Group, an international health and wellness company, has entered into an agreement with Oakley Capital on a business combination of WindStar Medical with Merz' business division Merz Lifecare, one of the leading OTC providers in the DACH region. WindStar Medical and Merz Lifecare are to be combined under a joint holding company. Merz will become the majority shareholder of the holding company.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
