Hengeler Mueller advises GreatStar on acquisition of Joh. Friedrich Behrens AG business operations out of insolvency

A subsidiary of Swiss GreatStar Europe AG ("GreatStar") has concluded an agreement with insolvent Joh. Friedrich Behrens AG on the acquisition of its business operations, including Behrens AG's subsidiaries in eleven foreign jurisdictions. Behrens AG is a pan-European manufacturer of fastening technology. Closing of the transaction is subject to various conditions, in particular the approval of the creditors' committee as well as antitrust and foreign trade clearance.

Hengeler Mueller advised GreatStar on the transaction.
