Hengeler Mueller advises DONG Energy on the divestment of a 50% stake in Offshore Wind Park Borkum Riffgrund 1 to KIRKBI A/S and Oticon Foundation

DONG Energy signed an agreement for the sale of a 50% stake in the German offshore wind park Borkum Riffgrund 1 with KIRKBI A/S and Oticon Foundation. The purchase price amounts to EUR 627 m. DONG Energy will construct the wind farm with a capacity of 77 3.6 MW turbines and provide O&M services for a time period of 15 years. The purchase is subject to approval by the cartel authorities.
