Hengeler Mueller advises Apryse on acquisition of Scanbot

Apryse, a global leader in document processing technology, today announced the acquisition of Scanbot SDK, a mobile-first solution provider specializing in high-performance data capture software development kits (SDKs) for barcode scanning, document scanning, and optical character recognition (OCR). This strategic acquisition expands Apryse’s capabilities in the intelligent document processing (IDP) space, empowering customers to seamlessly capture and process information from mobile devices at the edge—accelerating automation and reducing friction in high-volume workflows.

Apryse acquired all shares in Scanbot from its previous shareholders in Germany.

Hengeler Mueller advised Apryse comprehensively on the transaction. Choate, Hall & Stewart advised on US law aspects.
