Hengeler Mueller advises Amprion on EUR 800m international bond debut

With the emission of a EUR 800m benchmark bond, German transmission system operator Amprion has made a successful international capital market debut. The bond has a term of 12 years and a coupon of 0.625 percent. The issuance was placed as part of the new Debt Issuance Program launched in May. With the proceeds from the placement, Amprion intends to continue to drive forward the expansion of the electricity grid.
