Hengeler Mueller advises Allianz on settlements with U.S. authorities

Allianz SE has announced that its indirect subsidiary Allianz Global Investors U.S. LLC has entered into settlements with the U.S. Department of Justice ("DOJ") and the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") in connection with the Structured Alpha matter. These settlements fully resolve the U.S. governmental investigations of the Structured Alpha matter for Allianz. 

Hengeler Mueller advised Allianz on corporate and capital markets law as well as on compliance matters in connection with these proceedings and the civil action proceedings, which have in the meantime also been settled.
